60 Days, Love It or Return It

A new mattress will shock the body, so you will need a short time to get accustomed to it. No matter how well-priced your new mattress is, it is worthless if it does not meet your comfort needs.

We ask that you sleep on your new mattress for a minimum of 30 days before requesting a refund. This is because a new mattress can take a while for you and the mattress to become fully conditioned to each other.

This mattress can be returned if you inform our Customer Service team within 60 days after delivery. The mattress must not be damaged, marked or soiled. We recommend using a mattress protector during this period to avoid any possible damage.

We’ll raise any refunds when the goods have been returned, processed and checked for damages. Your refund will generally reach your payment method within 14 working days, excluding any collection fees upto £63.

10 Year Guarantee

Our guarantee aims to protect our customers for a fixed time. To demonstrate our confidence in our products and undoubtedly our reputation, we will repair or replace the faulty component if your mattress fails within the set guarantee period. We will bear the expense of correcting faulty workmanship or components.

This mattress is guaranteed for 10 years, meaning it should be usable, showing only normal signs of 10 years of wear and tear. However, there should be no complete failure of components. If you believe this is the case, then all you have to do is to contact us.

As our future or present customers have peace of mind that the artisans who make our mattresses have over 27 years of British handcrafting heritage, you are assured of the highest quality at all times and that we will do all we can to keep you happy.

1 9cm Carpenter Memory Foam

Carpenter memory foam has unique pressure-relieving properties that provide excellent anatomical support for the body. It has also solved the problem of heat buildup by inventing active air technology. Constructed by punching holes in the foam and reinforcing it with a woven fibre layer, heat and humidity pass through the material increasing airflow by as much as 100%.

2 7cm Viscogel

Viscogel conforms to unique body shapes providing customised comfort where you need it. It reduces maximum tension on key pressure points whilst providing a consistent cell structure that dissipates heat faster than traditional grades of memory foam. Viscogel also delivers unrivalled deep sinking support and is incredibly durable, retaining its performance and height for years providing great shape-conforming comfort and a comfortably cool sleep experience.

3 5.5cm Support Base Foam

A high-density responsive base foam that provides optimum support and is made up of tiny holes that adapt to your body shape, but bounce back against you, providing exemplary spinal alignment.

4 6.5cm Eco Foam

Eco foam is a unique material created from 100% recycled and re-engineered foam, resulting in a much more eco-friendly product and a reduced carbon footprint. In addition, Eco foam is resilient, durable, and naturally dust mite resistant.

How Will it Feel

The Winstons Pro mattress comprises of 9cm carpenter memory foam, 7cm viscogel, 5.5cm supportive foam base and 6.5cm eco foam. The amount of foam used is the most important element in a memory foam mattress as it will dictate the amount of comfort and support you receive. The pro has a total of 28cm of foam which is significantly more than our competitors.

The Pro has the most lavish medium feel that will provide a deep yet cradling sink and it is suitable for all sleepers.

Why are There no Springs in the Pro

In the four years it has taken us to launch the Winstons Pro, we tested different specifications, including up to 7000 pocket springs. Our tests and customer feedback showed us that customers could not tell the difference when the mattress had springs and did not have springs.

Our tests also indicated the springs made the mattress firmer, offered less of the cradling feel customers want from a memory foam mattress and did not contour to the body as well as a 100% foam mattress. By adding springs with no discernible benefit, the customer pays more for less comfort.

We wanted to design a memory foam mattress that will give you that cloud-like feel, optimum support, cool and motion transfer-free sleep at the best possible price, and at this price point, we know we are offering you the highest spec foam mattress in the world.

Preparing for your delivery

To help make sure your two-man room-of-choice delivery goes smoothly, please ensure your room of choice is tidy, clear, and ready to receive your new mattress or bed. In addition, we recommend that you remove any mirrors, hanging pictures or ornaments along the route to the room of choice. Our courier will send you an email or text message a few days before delivery to confirm your delivery date and 3-hour time slot. You will have the option to accept or decline the date and time.

Hold and Delivery Process Disclaimer: Limitation of Liability for Damages

We are not liable for any damages incurred during transit for items held and delivered at a later date as requested by the customer.

The warehouse storage of items is a separate aspect from the transit process and is subject to different conditions and risks. When items are stored in a warehouse, they may be exposed to various hazards such as dust, moisture, temperature fluctuations, handling by third-party personnel, and other factors that can lead to damage. These potential damages are not related to the transit process and therefore, the seller is not responsible for them as the customer has requested for the item to be held and delivered at a later date.

Damage waiver for two-man room of choice

Our courier may ask you to sign a property damage waiver before they take any item upstairs; if this is not ok, please advise us prior, and we will only be able to offer doorstep delivery. Winstons Beds cannot be held liable for any property damage. If a damage waiver is not requested to be signed by the courier, feel free to contact the courier company regarding any damages if they have occurred. If you refuse the delivery because you do not wish to sign the damage waiver. In that case, this will be classed as a failed delivery, and we reserve the right to charge £43 to £256, depending on the mattress model you purchased, to cover the cost of re-arranging delivery. If any goods are returned to us due to inadequate access or the customer not being available, we reserve the right to charge £43 to £256, depending on the mattress model you purchased, to cover the cost of re-arranging delivery. (Winston’s offers a one-time-only free delivery)

Clearance items

All clearance items will be despatched within seven days of the order being placed.

International deliveries

Please note all international deliveries will be despatched within the same period as our UK deliveries which are mattresses alone within 4-6 weeks and bed sets within 5-8 weeks from the date the order is finalised. Once the item is despatched, DHL will provide an estimated delivery date. These dates are estimates only and may alter. Winstons Beds cannot be held liable for any delivery delays once the item has been despatched.

Delivery signature

Only sign a delivery slip once you have thoroughly inspected the goods, as this will waive any rights you have to claim against damages.

Mattress arrived in a bag, rolled. This made getting it upstairs to my bedroom so much easier, even easier than them mattresses that come in them boxes.
