We’re confident you will love your mattress from the first night – but we give you 100 nights to be sure. This will be enough time for your body to fully adjust to your new mattress. If you decide to exchange your Winstons mattress, we’ll collect it for free and deliver your new mattress simultaneously, so you are not left without a mattress to sleep on.
To initiate the 100-night trial, inform our Customer Service team within 100 days after delivery. The mattress must not be damaged, marked or soiled. We recommend using a mattress protector during this period to avoid any possible damage.
To help us to collect your mattress to be exchanged as fast and safely as possible, we’ll ask you to wrap and seal it in two heavy-duty bags we’ll send out to you for free in advance.
If you don’t receive your bag within 7 days of initiating the exchange, please contact our Customer Services team, who’ll arrange for another set of bags to be sent. You’ll need to ensure the mattress is wrapped in both bags, sealed and ready before the courier arrives.
Our guarantee aims to protect our customers for a fixed time. To demonstrate our confidence in our products and undoubtedly our reputation, we will repair or replace the faulty component if your mattress or bed base fails within the set guarantee period. We will bear the expense of correcting faulty workmanship or components.
Our mattresses and beds are guaranteed for 30 years, meaning they should be usable, showing only normal signs of 30 years of wear and tear. However, there should be no complete failure of components. If you believe this is the case, then all you have to do is to contact us.
As our future or present customers have peace of mind that the artisans who make our mattresses and beds have over 95 years of British handcrafting heritage, you are assured of the highest quality at all times and that we will do all we can to keep you happy.

The following mattresses will receive doorstep delivery only: The Elite, The Essentials Orthopaedic, The Pro, The Alderley (Single Size).
The courier will deliver to your doorstep only; they won’t enter your home, assemble the product, or take away old items.
Our courier will contact you 24 hours before confirming your delivery date.
Please note offshore deliveries to Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey will only have a doorstep delivery.
Failed deliveries for doorstep delivery
If goods are returned due to inadequate access, mattress or beds not fitting or unavailability, charges of £45 to £100 will apply for re-arranging delivery (one-time free delivery offered by Winstons).
Any change of address, availability, or request to change the delivery date once scheduled will be considered a failed delivery, and charges may apply.
Failed deliveries for two-man room of choice delivery
If goods are returned due to inadequate access or unavailability, charges of £43 to £256 may apply for re-arranging delivery (one-time free delivery offered by Winstons).
Any change of address, availability, or request to change the delivery date within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery will be considered a failed delivery, and charges may apply.
Two-man room of choice
The following mattresses will receive two-man room-of-choice delivery only: The Alderley (Double size and above), The Ancoats, The Rochester, The Dreamer, The Shropshire, The Highland, The Sherwood, The Heritage, The Grand Luxe, The Duke, The No1, The No2, Bed Bases, Headboards.
Goods will be delivered to the room of your choice with careful handling by the couriers.
Preparing for your delivery
Ensure your room of choice is tidy, clear, and ready to receive the mattress or bed.
Remove any mirrors, hanging pictures, or ornaments along the route to the room of choice.
Our courier will send you an email or text message a few days before delivery to confirm the date and 3-hour time slot, giving you the option to accept or decline.
Hold and Delivery Process Disclaimer: Limitation of Liability for Damages
We are not liable for damages incurred during transit for items held and delivered at a later date as per customer request.
Warehouse storage conditions may expose items to hazards, and potential damages are not related to the transit process.
Damage waiver for two-man room of choice
Our courier may ask you to sign a property damage waiver before taking items upstairs.
Winstons Beds cannot be held liable for any property damage.
Refusing to sign the damage waiver may result in a failed delivery, and charges may apply.
Collections for Essentials Ortho, Elite, Alderley & Pashmina
Should you find that the mattress doesn’t quite meet your expectations after a minimum of 30 nights and a maximum of 60 nights, please get in touch with us at [email protected], quoting your order number. Please be aware that you’ll need to procure a mattress bag for returning the mattress. We can suggest suitable bags and provide links for where they can be purchased. These bags will be recycled once the mattress is returned to us, and won’t be sent back to you. If, however, you’d like the bags to be returned to you, please inform us when you’re returning the mattress. Bear in mind that you would need to cover the postage cost for us to send the bags back to you.

Delivery is made by a 3rd party service who take my mattress to my room of choice and unpacked it, taking away all the rubbish. This was essential as I would not have been able to carry this mattress upstairs myself due to its weight.

My wife and I were in need of a new bed and mattress, Previously we have had a Vispring Mattress and bed. Having had this for eight years, I can honestly say it was the best mattress I had ever had Until I tried a Winstons mattress. I ordered a Winstons mattress in medium firm, it had seven rows of hand side stitching and 100% natural fillings. They also put eight handles on the mattress which made it very convenient to turn and rotate. With this I also ordered a four drawer sprung divan bed base and chesterfield headboard.
I will start with saying the divan bed and headboard are single-handedly the best quality Bed base and headboard I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing in my 75 years of life.The Winstons mattress though was something completely out of this world, the comfort, hand crafting, the materials used and all in all quality of this mattress have amazed me.I am very grateful to have had the pleasure of doing business with such a great company

Generally I won’t purchase from anyone who has less than 100 reviews and that’s 100 5 star reviews minimum.
I only purchased from Winstons beds because a good friend stated they make the best mattresses he had ever slept on.
So I took the plunge and purchased a Winstons Ultimate Collection 6FT Super King 100% Natural Mattress with 13500 pocket springs and 7 rows of genuine side stitching with a 4 Draw Divan and panelled headboard in 100% linen fabric.
I looked at similar products which by the way there were not many of apart from other high end sellers such as Savior, Vi Spring, Hastens and John Lewis.
All of there similar sets though would cost me over £20000, Now I have already had a Hastens mattress what I paid £14500 for and it is amazing. I tried a savior and John Lewis ultimate collection mattress rrp of £18000. They were also amazing.
So you can see why I was hesitant to buy from Winstons as they were promising me a better mattress for 25% of the price.
The mattress arrived and the delivery drivers whom were so polite took the mattress upstairs and the bed.
They unpacked the bed first and put it together with my headboard. So far I was very very very very very !!!!! Impressed, the sheer quality, I was shocked !
Now came the main part for me, the mattress!
They took the packaging off and laid it on my bed!!! AMAZING !!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MATTRESS!!!!!!
